Homemade rhassoul shampoo
Mix 2 tablespoons of rhassoul in a cup of warm whole milk along with a teaspoon of olive oil or another nourishing vegetable oil such as coconut oil. Stir everything until you obtain a fluid paste which you will then apply to your wet hair. Start from the roots to the ends, making sure to distribute evenly over your entire scalp. Massage lightly and leave for a few minutes to optimize the effects of rhassoul. After rinsing your hair thoroughly with tap water, you can also do a second rinse with vinegar or lemon water to gain shine.
Ghassoul as a hair mask
To make this incredible hair mask, you will need: 2 tablespoons of rhassoul powder, 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil of your choice, 1 teaspoon of aloe vera gel, 2 tablespoons of mineral water, rose or orange blossom hydrosol and 2 drops of essential oil such as ylang-ylang or geranium. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients using a wooden spoon until you obtain a homogeneous and not too thick paste. Apply to damp hair starting from the roots and working down your lengths to your ends. After applying for 10 to 20 minutes, you can rinse your treatment with clean water, checking that no residue remains. In a container, mix 2 tablespoons of cornstarch, 1 tablespoon of rhassoul, 1 tablespoon of orris root powder and, if desired, 10 drops of rosewood essential oil to give volume and a pleasant smell to your hair.
