Our pharmacist's opinion
Why use clove essential oil?
Clove essential oil is suitable for all oral care to heal, prevent light bleeding, reduce pain and redness and fight infection. As a first aid treatment in case of toothache, it often allows you to hold on until your appointment with the dentist: applied at the rate of one pure drop diluted in 3 drops of vegetable oil on the gum or tooth which hurts 3-4 times a day. Be careful though, orally, prolonged use of this essential oil must be supervised by a doctor. When applying to the skin, care must be taken to dilute it well and apply it to small areas because it is dermocaustic. In diffusion, it is breathed but does not diffuse (or only slightly). Local use on the oral mucous membranes remains the first choice. How to properly use clove essential oil?
